Only One in Hubei! Gechuang Dongzhi Shortlisted for the Final Evaluation List of the Industrial Manufacturing Track of the 2026 “Data Element ×” Competition National Finals
September 21,National Data Administrationannouncedthe 2026 “Data Element ×” Competition National Finalsofflinefinal evaluation shortlisted project list. Gechuang Dongzhi’s “Model-Data Fusion-Driven Digital Employees (AI Agents) for Autonomous Decision-Making in Manufacturing Scenarios” was successfully selected, becomingthe only Hubei project shortlisted in the Industrial Manufacturing Track. This is the project’s further breakthrough in the national competition after winningsecond prize in the Intelligent Manufacturing Track of the Hubei Regional Competition.
This team of “digital employees” has delivered real results on the manufacturing floor. At a semiconductor company, the average closure time for major production anomalies has been reduced from several hours to 0.5 hours, freeing frontline duty personnel from more than 25% of transactional work hours, and supporting 7×24 continuous monitoring of production quality.
Behind these results isthe in-depth application of industrial data from recording production to driving decisions. When facing production anomalies, retrieving data across systems, investigating causes, and driving resolution often require engineers to follow up step by step. Relying on its self-developedOctopus Agent Space industrial-grade intelligent agent platform, Gechuang Dongzhi integrates multi-source industrial data, business processes, and expert experience. Through collaboration between large and small models, digital employees can call data around specific tasks, assess anomalies, generate plans, and coordinate with business systems for execution, building a closed loop of perception, analysis and decision-making, and action.

Enabling experience to be retained, data to support action, and anomalies to be resolved faster—this is the industrial AI practice presented by the project as it advances to the national final evaluation. At present, related applications have been rolled out in industries such as semiconductors, new energy, and oil and gas, driving the value of data elements into measurable efficiency improvements for manufacturing enterprises.
According to the competition schedule, the offline final evaluation defense of the national finals is planned to be held in mid-to-late October. Gechuang Dongzhi will compete with its industrial AI application results from manufacturing sites, continuously expanding the application of digital employees in core manufacturing scenarios.
